Robotics Engineer

Los Angeles, CA // Full Time or Intern // On Site

We want a systems builder who can take mechanical, electrical, sensors, and compute and turn them into a working robot. This is a hands-on integration role for someone who is comfortable with a wrench, a soldering iron, and a terminal.

You should be able to move across disciplines as the build demands: mechanical assembly, wiring, sensor integration, and the debugging that happens when something does not move the way it should.

What You Will Own

  • Implement Ethercat and Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
  • Build and iterate on robotic assemblies (arms, mounts, end-effectors).
  • Integrate motors, drivers, sensors, cameras, and compute.
  • Wire power, IO, and communication across the system.
  • Debug motion and reliability issues across hardware and control.
  • Modify hardware to improve stiffness, alignment, and repeatability.

Evidence We Want To See

  • Show hands-on application of math and engineering in kinematics, dynamics, motion planning, and control to make robots move and act purposefully.
  • Show robots or electromechanical systems you built and ran.
  • Show debugging work that crossed mechanical, electrical, and control.
  • Show hands-on builds (not just CAD or simulation).
  • Show clear before/after improvements to a system you worked on.
